Methane is a greenhouse gas 86 times more powerful than carbon dioxide, and its atmospheric concentration has tripled since the beginning of the industrial revolution. Methane gas is responsible for about a third of global warming.

Atmospheric methane decomposition actually accelerates the rate of methane decomposition in the atmosphere twofold, and may cool the earth by half a degree in the next decade, which will reduce extreme climate events and give us more time to organize for climate restoration by 2050.

Beyond that, the development of the ability to decompose atmospheric methane is an insurance policy for humanity against a massive eruption of methane gases as a result of the melting of the permafrost in the North Pole and Siberia, an event that could significantly accelerate global warming and destroy the human race.

The network for climate restoration works in cooperation with the Grandfathers and Grandmothers Fund for climate restoration for the planning and implementation of the solution on a global scale.
